Brian has more than 25 years of executive-level marketing and strategic communications experience in the high tech sector, in financial services, and in media.
Part of the Ardence/Citrix marketing group for more than five years, Brian developed the selling and positioning strategies for Ardence’s highly successful launch of its portfolio of software-streaming products. Ardence achieved 150%+ annual revenue growth for its Enterprise software products and received consistent industry recognition for product excellence, including 2006 IBM PartnerWorld product of the year and MITX’s Massachusetts Software Product of the Year.
Prior to Citrix’s acquisition of Ardence, Brian was instrumental in the creation of a breakthrough strategic partnership with Dell. The partnership enabled the rapid development and launch of a special Dell/Ardence product (the Ardence Dell SmartClient); a joint go-to-market strategy with Dell in early 2006; and finally to an OEM agreement under which Dell uses software-streaming technology as the underpinning for its new On-Demand Desktop Streaming solution.
In 2005 Brian planned and executed all internal and external marketing and communications initiatives for Ardence’s highly successful 2005 repositioning, rebranding, and corporate relocation as it transitioned from a 25-year-old Embedded software company (VenturCom, Inc.) to an innovative Enterprise-focused software company (Ardence, Inc.)
Before joining Ardence, Brian was Vice President of Corporate Communications for Peoples Bancorp of Worcester, MA and for many years was a reporter, columnist and editor for a large Massachusetts media company.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of the Holy Cross.
